Lauren's Mom and my great-aunt Jackie, who we lovingly called “Nana,” both worked for SSA, which led our lives to cross paths as teenagers. From walking the streets of Miami to witnessing each other become mothers, we’ve had a whirlwind friendship over the last 20 years. I wouldn’t trade it for anything! I met Daryl shortly after Cam was born. He seemed cool, but I had to “feel him out." I got to know the funny side of his personality and soon had a person I could shoot jokes and drink Jameson with. I became “Harriet” to him soon after! I am honored to witness my Lo and Uncle Ben’s union! Keep that rice ready, Sir! Sending you both love and prayers for MANY years of happiness and devotion!

The bride's first cousin and friend. We have been down since baby dolls and hair barrettes. I met the groom at a family cookout and made it mandatory for him to be present at each one from then on out. Occasionally, I show up at the couple's home to steal wine, give credit advice, and nap on the sofa. I am lovingly known as Uncle Jade to the couple's son and included on the target bribery list. More importantly, I am honored to be part of the couple's union.

My name is Dani, and Lauren and I have been friends since the summer of 99' when we met at tennis camp at Carter Barron in DC. Lauren’s been like a sister to me since then, and I’m so happy to share this milestone with her. As for Daryl, I met him when I stopped by their house. I believe it was a Sunday, and the Eagles were playing the Cowboys. He soon found out he was outnumbered and started talking trash. Soon after, all I hear is, “Dani, you drink Remy,” and a bond was formed. Congrats to my new brother and my best friend on the most exciting journey you will soon embark upon. Love yall

I met Lauren in 2004 at Eleanor Roosevelt. We were cheerleaders and instantly clicked, becoming partners in crime and getting into a bit of trouble together! Through the good, bad, and ugly, we’ve always had each other’s backs and always will. Some of my best memories are from our "club days" in DC.

Now, as career women, we continue to cheer each other on as we climb the corporate ladder. And let's not forget our journey into motherhood. We've supported each other through the chaos and joy of raising boys. Lauren, you are my partner, my sister. Here’s to more years of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. Cheers to us... Lauren and I first crossed paths in high school, and little did we know that our friendship would blossom into something truly special. We've had countless laughter-filled adventures throughout the years. As we became young adults, our friendship truly flourished. We’ve shared so many incredible moments, from navigating the ups and downs of life to supporting each other as we became boy moms.

Watching her grow into the amazing woman she is today has been a privilege, and I cherish the bond we’ve built through all our shared experiences. Twenty years ago, WOW, just saying that seems surreal; I changed schools my junior year and attended Eleanor Roosevelt. Lauren was one of the first people I met in our history class, and we both joined the cheerleading team. We instantly clicked, and from that day, we spent many days talking, laughing, crying, traveling, hanging out, and now even sharing the joys and woes of motherhood together. We even shared the experience of meeting her now fiancé, Daryl, aka black, together, and I am honored to be a part of their special day. I have known lauren for all my life lol, and she’s been like an older sibling that I never had. I met Daryl one Thanksgiving as they both were very headasses with their football gear on, very not demure lol. Having Cam has been great for both of them and I love seeing them parent him together.

My Godmommy Lauren was with my Mom the day she found out she was pregnant with me. She asked her to be one of my godmothers and she said yes. She deals with my goofy, sassy, and headstrong personality with the patience and love that only a godmother can give! She also gave me my Uncle Daryl who gives me snacks even when my Mom says no because he knows I love them! Even though I don’t like wearing dresses, I am happy that I get to be the flower girl in their wedding. I’m more excited about riding on the airplane though!

Lauren I have known you from the time I found out that I was pregnant with you. I have loved you since that moment. You are a strong will individual but I would not change that about you even if it does irritate me. You are my mini me. I am proud of the woman and mother that you have grown into be. A lot of times you’re my backbone and my cheerleader as I am yours.

Daryl I met you at the bar with Lauren about 7 to 8 years ago and then I saw how you felt about my daughter. You are the son-in-law anyone would ask for. I see how much you love my daughter and it does my heart good.
